Glastonbury 2007
Well we're back home now from Glasto 2007. Am thinking maybe next year I should watch it from the dry and warm confines of the living room. That was the muddiest and rainiest one I've ever done, which really put a dampener onthe whole thing. A little rain is one thing but almost constant rain is just horrible. Anyway it had its moments like; Amy Winehouse, Mika, Dame Shirley Bassey and Kasabian. The Who were quite good too.
This was also the trip where I retired my tent. Its still there now.

It was a bit much, wasn't it?
It took me 3 hours to get home on Sunday - a journey which should take no more than 5 minutes. Needless to say, I didn't pop back.
Even the kids got fed up with what began as fun mud.
It's a good job I was so out of it all the time.
We managed to get out ok monday morning. Though we did get up at 4:30am and it did take us and hour and a half to get back to the car from where we were camped. After that it wasn't so bad. Think we got out of the car park in about 15mins which must be some sort of record really, considering other cars were being towed out by tractors at that time.
I wasn't that out of it at all.
