Nice Food

Went to Hakkasan last night for 1yr anniversary meal with girlfriend. It well deserves its place in the top 50 places ot eat in the world;

The cocktails were tasty and refreshing (Green Destiny and er..), the service just right and even the veggie options (veggie dim sum & the sugar snaps) were a taste sensation. I can see why all the reviews raved about the dim sum.

Last saturday was the day of the Purple Ball. A good time wsas had by all and with the following as entertainment you'd expect it to be so;

• Royal Marines Marching Band


• Battle of Britain Memorial flypast


• Red Devils Parachute display


• Trapease Artistes


• Angle Grinders


• Three course meal - rather nice it was too


• Band and DJ alternating


• Breakfast at 03:30

All in all quite a night.
