Yesterday apple finally announced their new iPhone (rumoured for ages).
It looks rather good. Definately better than my Nokia N80; which is good in theory but its all a bit slow, worked once with my bluetooth headset and has been known to crash when receiving a text message. Even though I had the firmware updated and had to use an old phone for the week it was away.
But that's important. When our tools don't work, we tend to blame ourselves, for being too stupid or not reading the manual or having too-fat fingers. "I think there's almost a belligerence—people are frustrated with their manufactured environment," says Ive. "We tend to assume the problem is with us, and not with the products we're trying to use." In other words, when our tools are broken, we feel broken. And when somebody fixes one, we feel a tiny bit more whole.

I didn't blame myself, the Nokia sucks as it wasn't tested properly. Wish more companies would make the effort. Goes for the one I work for too.
