Tough choice this morning; go caving in the rain and get plastered in mud again OR go to Škocjanske Jama (nice clean(ish) tourist cave).
No words to describe the size of this cave, humungously gigantic would be an understatement. superb cave, really nice river and all for 1200sit. bit of a tough walk out of the Doline to the railcar thingy though!
Škocjanske JamaIn the afternoon we headed off to the coast. Ended up in Portoroz, where we could see both the Italian and Croatian coastlines. Nice place (bit posh), we kinda looked out of place with long trousers and walking boots on though! plenty of women for Bob and the rest of us pervs to stare at, so no complaints on that front.
